My best friend moved out to New England for a bit, and I’ve decided that Massachusetts is to die for! I’ve particularly fallen in love with the wildlife.
So excuse me while I nerd out on the birds I was able to capture with a camera, and enjoy the colors (:
There were Nuthatches..
Some Chickadees..
A Tufted Titmouse..
A Red-bellied Woodpecker
Pileated Woodpecker, just like Woody Woodpecker!
Blue Jays
House Finch
Hairy Woodpeckers
And the ever elusive (at least for me) Cardinal
Some honorable mentions that I was unable to photograph are the Red-wing Blackbirds, wild Turkeys, and the American Goldfinch.
I’ve learned that Massachusetts also have foxes, coyotes, beavers, deer, and a whole slew of other animals running about the neighborhoods.
