Next stop on the Banff tour: Emerald Lake. It was a little out of the way, but OH MY, it was worth it!
Of course, the drive is beautiful as well..
And just before you get to the lake, there’s a natural bridge I’d recommend stopping off at!
The water was so blue!
But it didn’t prepare me for the beauty of Emerald Lake..
As you come up to it, the striking Emerald color hits you. 
The lake is huge. There’s a trail that goes alongside it that I believe wraps around the whole thing. The scenery there is just as pretty.
The lake was so refreshing. Next time I go, hopefully it’ll be warmer. I’d love to hop into one of those Kayaks!
