Before Jennifer arrived to Utah, she specifically asked to go ziplining at the Olympic Park. If I’m going to be honest, I didn’t even know you could do that in Utah. So I looked it up, and apparently the Xtreme Zipline at the Utah Olympic Park is one of the steepest ziplines in the world. So there was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity for checking it out.
The Olympic Park is in Park City, tucked away in the mountains. Summer playground in the heat, ski resort in the winter. I was actually surprised to find how many activities you could do during the summer. Basically all the same as the winter, but with water instead of ice, bobsledding and ski jumping included.
Even the Olympians come and train during the summer.
Inside the visitors center, there is a museum, cafe, and….other stuff. I didn’t explore too much, ha. Too excited for the zip line!
On the outside, the real action was happening
We had to take a ski lift up the mountain
The mountains looked so….mountainy?
As it was a Monday, the line wasn’t too long.
A great weekend, for sure. I highly recommend the zipline. Sooo much fun. Though, I would get a day pass to the park instead. It’s a little more worth the money, and you can ride the ziplines and do other activities in the park as many times as you want!
