Here’s a view of our class this morning…
After being dismissed from work today (it must be the coughing and having no voice thing…and not wanting to get the kids sick. Psh). Barbie and I decided to go to Casablanca! We’re an adventurous pair, we are.
We hopped into the car with our to favorite scary men and headed along the shoreline in search of a new city.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see much, because we did have to be home in time for dinner. But we did get to see the Mosque, supposedly the biggest in all of Africa.
I caught Barbara taking a picture of the design. We’re obsessed.
Off to the side of the Mosque, we discovered the big, beautiful blue.
This was the first time I’ve seen women in the water ever since I first landed in Morocco.
We soon grew hungry and sunburned (very sunburned) and followed our scary driver and translator back to the car to grab some lunch
And had a wonderful lunch in this beautiful restaurant that I did not catch the name of…
And I had this strange concoction. It’s like a pastry stuffed with tumeric spiced chicken and almonds topped with cinnamon and sugar.
A well spent day. And Casablanca is only an hour’s drive from Rabat!
Now to fix my bug-bites problem….
