Traveling can be a thrill. Especially when you leave the country (if only for a day).
As a person who avidly participates in choirs, I’ve had the opportunity to travel on tour. Singing your way through the States and through other countries is amazing, especially as a high school student.
On a senior choir trip, we went to Seattle and Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. Imagine two coaches carrying over 100 boys and girls all around the age of 18. We were giddy, excited, and lusting over what relationships may arise and end over the course of our trip.
Not me though. I’m a saint. (;
But the point of this post isn’t about how a bunch of teenagers wanted to hook up while traveling (because it’s romantic, of course!). I wanted to share Victoria’s beautiful Butchart Gardens with you! So I’ll hush up for a bit while you scroll through the pictures (:
OH! But first…The Parliament building. It’s fantastic.
And on the inside..
Show that maple Canadian pride!
Okay. Now back to the garden.
This next part was really cool. In this maze like part of the garden, there was a hole in the wall.
And if you look through the hole..
You can see a river heading out towards the bay. Pretty sweet, aye? A (hole)some view if you get what I’m saying. No? Okay…
One last thing..Look at Parliament at night!
Somehow, it reminds me of the cartoon version of Anastasia.
Though we were only in Canada for a couple days. It was worth it, thanks to the gardens. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and serene. I have more pictures, but there are too many to share! So go see it for yourself some day, you won’t regret it!
